PriFest reveals its Middle Length competition program, which includes 3 world premieres

The biggest International Film Festival in the country, PriFest, which will hold its 9th edition in July, has today (June 24, 2017) published its first of ten film programs.

The Middle Length competition program will have 13 films coming from different parts of the world. 3 of them are world premieres, which will be screened for the Kosovar public before any other in the world. There are also 1 international premier, 1 European premier, and 4 regional premieres, with the others being Kosovo premieres, being screened for the first time in our country.

“The Kite that Flies on its Own” – a German production – as well as two Kosovar films, “Tisa” and “Once Upon a Time in Kosova”, will have their world premieres screened in PriFest’s Middle Length program. Among them within this program are films from Germany, France, Great Britain, Switzerland, Belgium, Iran, Israel, the Czech Republic and Kosovo.

A film taking part in this competitive program will compete and be evaluated by an international jury, with the winner taking home the Silver Goddess Award. The full line-up of the Middle Length competition program of the 9th edition of PriFest is as follows:

This year, from July 13-20, the PriFest audience will be able to watch films at the National Theatre (two halls), the Open Air Cinema at the Zahir Pajaziti Square, Kino ABC and the other Open Air Cinema at the National Museum Amphitheatre. Tickets will cost 3 Euros, and can be bought at the National Theatre and Kino ABC. Film lovers also have the great opportunity to buy an All in one ticket which will enable them to watch any and all of the festival’s 76 films for only 10 Euros.
