Meet the Media Jury

They will be judging our competition category, Global Cinema, for the Media Award.
Jad Salfiti, film critic and journalist;
Arjola Shehu, TV host and journalist;
Lorik Bakija, journalist and TV presenter.
Global Cinema is an International Feature Competition program. Six films will be screened in this category and selection features 1 International Premiere, 3 Regional Premieres and 2 Kosovan Premieres of the films from 6 countries and 3 continents.
Based in Berlin, Jad Salfiti is a British-Palestinian film critic and journalist specializing in the intersection of culture and politics. He frequently contributes video reports to BBC’s Talking Movies and has written extensively for a wide range of media, including The Guardian and Al Jazeera English.
Arjola Shehu - TV Host, Journalist. Part of the albanian televisions as Klan TV, InTv, Albanian Radio Television, RTV Ora etc, she has been presenting different TV and radio programs , from talk shows, cooking shows, morning shows as well as national and international festivals: “Kenga Magjike 2017”, “Miss Globe 2019”, “Albanian Clip Festival (2018- present)”, “Miss Shqiperia (2018- present)” etc. Well know for promoting new talents and cultural events in her shows. Recently she made her debut as an actress to the upcoming TV series “Nina”.
Lorik Bakija is a journalist and TV presenter at RTV21. As part of the Documentary and Cultural/Artistic Program newsrooms at 21 Media, he has mainly covered stories related to culture, cultural heritage, tourism and social affairs. He is the author of reportages made in Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro etc. He is one of the presenters of the daily show Bon Bon at RTV21 and the author of 35milimetra, a show dedicated to cinematography broadcasted every weekend at RTV21 in Kosovo and TV21 in North Macedonia. He was born in Gjakova and lives in Prishtina.
