AUSTRIA IN FOCUS

As every year, PriFest brings the “Focus” program, a special non-competitive category that highlights the cinema of a selected country. This year, the focus will be on Austria’s film industry. In addition to screening an Austrian feature film, a significant group of Austrian filmmakers will also be present at PriForum – Prishtina Film Forum, PriFest’s regional industry platform. They will participate in various PriForum activities as well as in jury duties.

 

This program is supported by the Austrian Film Institute and the Austrian Embassy in Kosovo.

Former martial arts artist Sarah leaves Austria to train three sisters from a wealthy Middle Eastern family. What seems like a dream job quickly turns unsettling: the young girls are cut off from the outside world and under constant surveillance. Sports don’t seem to interest them. So why has Sarah been hired?
