PriFest 2025 Announces Award Winners at the 17th Edition

PriFest 2025 AnThe 17th edition of PriFest – Prishtina International Film Festival has come to a beautiful close, marking another milestone in celebrating cinema, dialogue, and the enduring legacy of its founder, Vjosa Berisha. This year’s edition concluded with the announcement of the award-winning films across its competitive categories.

Balkan Films Competition

  • Best Film: Cycle by Erkan Tahhusoglu, Turkiye/Kosovo
  • Best Director: Dino Mustafić (The Pavillion), Bosnia & Herzegovina
  • Best Actor: Stoyan Doychev (Eternal Package), Bulgaria
  • Best Actress: Arta Dobroshi (Emily), Albania

Middle Length Competition

  • Best Film: People Exchanging Saliva by Natalie Musteata and Alexandre Singh, France

Short Film Competition

  • Best Film: Three Keenings by Oliver McGoldrick, UK/IRL/USA

PriForum – Best Pitch Competition

  • In My Country PostProduction House Award: Spider – Turkiye
  • Neptune Award (PriFest Award): The General and the Butterfly – North Macedonia
  • Kosovo Film Center Development Award: Adet – Kosovo
  • Kosovo Film Center Development Award: Voices – Bulgaria

The festival gathered filmmakers, industry experts, partners, and audiences from around the world for a week of screenings, discussions, and networking, reinforcing PriFest’s role as a hub for regional and international cinema.

Festival organizers extended heartfelt thanks to the filmmakers, juries, partners, and the enthusiastic audience who made this year’s edition truly unforgettable.
