This year, PriFest brings a rich and diverse program of short films from Europe and beyond—powerful stories that touch on forgiveness, rebellion, intimacy, and loss. Seven films, all Kosovo premieres, including one regional premiere and one European premiere, make up this year’s competition lineup.
ONE PUNCH – by Huse Monfaradi, United Kingdom / European Premiere (10 min)
Set mainly in the visiting room of a British Midlands prison, we meet Jamin—a young inmate who has taken the wrong path—visited one bleak afternoon by Zainab and Hasani, the parents of the boy he killed in a street fight.
ONE WOMAN FILM – by Anita Morina, Kosovo / Regional Premiere (9 min)
A young woman working as a cam girl sets up a camera to record herself cooking, blurring the line between performance and intimacy as she struggles with intrusive thoughts while waiting for her date to arrive.
BARK – by Branislav Milatović, Montenegro / Premiere (16 min)

BITTER CHOCOLATE – by Sahar Sotoodeh, Iran/Germany / Premiere (20 min)
Yasi, a determined 16-year-old girl, arrives in the capital from her hometown under the pretext of taking an IELTS test, in order to secretly terminate an unwanted pregnancy before it is too late.
MAJONEZË – by Giulia Grandinetti, Italy / Premiere (22 min)
Ersekë, Albania. Elyria lives with her family under the strict rules imposed by her father, concealing her anger through compliance.
THREE KEENINGS – by Oliver McGoldrick, United Kingdom/Ireland/USA / Premiere (10 min)
Ian, a struggling actor, finds himself in an unusual role—as a professional mourner.
THREE – by Amie Song, USA / Premiere (15 min)
At a house gathering, a Chinese woman who has recently moved to the United States to live with her daughter struggles to hide her daughter’s secrets from their new friends.
