Meet the Jury of Medium-Length Films Competition Program

PriFest presents the Jury of Medium-Length Films Competition program. This category covers films from 25-60 minutes and PriFest is the only festival in the region to have this category of films.

And the jurors are:

Shahar Rosen graduated with Honors from JSFS, Jerusalem, 1996. Awarded Best Director in the Israeli Film Institute Awards Short Films Competition. Awarded Best TV Drama for “Mother V” in the Jerusalem Film Festival 2001. Special mention  at Cinema Tout Ecran, Switzerland. Liebe Perla received the Magnolia Prize in Shanghai film festival and best Documentary in Istanbul Film Festival 2000. Best script for “Ducks, an urban legend” in POFF, Tallinn 2022. Qualified teacher of Chubbuck Technique and founder of Chubbuck Israel Acting Studio.

Rina Krasniqi is a Kosovan actress. She started singing, acting and performing at the age of four. Upon graduating from the Academy of Arts in Pristina, she was cast in her break-out role for 'The Albanian Virgin' (2021). The film swept up awards at every major film festival it attended. Making history, Rina won both 'Best Actress' and 'Best Actor' awards for her role as Luana/Jack at last year’s edition of PriFest (2022). Rina continues to deliver captivating performances and her career is on the ascent solidifying her as an international rising star. Her other work includes: ‘Illyricvm’ (2022) and Silence of Sirens (2023).

Belkıs Bayrak was born in Turkey in 1984 and received her MA degree in Film and Television at Istanbul Bilgi University. She made her first short film The Apartment in 2018. She founded her own production company Saba Film. Her second short film Cemile screened at more than 50 international film festivals including Dublin, İstanbul, Bosphorus, Shorts Mexico and won several awards. Her debut film Gulizar was the winner of best pitch award in PriForum in 2019.  The film is currently in post-production and  the first ever Turkey-Kosovo co-production. She is an alumnus of Torino Film Lab, Reclaim The Frame’s Filmonomics Program and a member of EWA.
