PriFest establishes a partnership with Spotlight, the most renowned casting service in Europe

Continuing its quest to support Kosovar actors by facilitating their access to the international market and their engagement in film projects outside of Kosovo, PriFest has established a partnership with Spotlight, one of the most renowned casting services in Europe.

 

“I am very happy to have established this partnership because PriFest is slowly getting to where we envisioned it would when we started this undertaking 12 years ago, that is to be a connecting bridge which serves the performing arts industry so that it expands outside Kosovo’s borders. As a result of this partnership, this year the festival will select 5 actors from Kosovo to provide them with free one-year memberships in Spotlight, enabling them to promote themselves and engage in different projects outside of Kosovo,’ said PriFest director Vjosa Berisha.

Spotlight to hold a seminar during PriFest next week

 

During PriFest Online week, from 19 to 25 October, as part of the Kosovo Rising Stars program, Spotlight will hold a seminar dedicated to actors, filmmakers and producers, sharing information about Spotlight’s method of operation, casting, online casting, as well as other aspects of their work, including their cooperation with producers and filmmakers for casting.

* Tuesday 20 October, 2.30pm (duration 1 hour): A seminar introducing Spotlight to the actors, agents, casting directors and producers. A short presentation by Spotlight experts followed by questions from the audience. This workshop is open to all industry professionals.

PriFest will select five actors from Kosovo who will be provided with Spotlight memberships and will take part in a one to one meeting organized by the Spotlight team, in which they will learn about how the platform can be used for their promotion and engagement in projects outside of the country.
